Janis Ian - Between the lines

 

재니스 이안의 노래들은 대개 아주 잔잔해 마음 차분하게 가라앉힐 때 들음 좋지만, 가만 듣고 있노라면 좀 졸릴 수도 있습니다.ㅎㅎ 그러나 지금 이 노래 Between the Lines는 조금 다릅니다. 물론 시작 부분은 그녀의 다른 노래들과 마찬가지로 아주 잔잔하지만, 뒤로 갈수록 점점 템포가 빨라지고 격해집니다. LP판이 빵꾸날 정도로 듣고 또 듣고... 이 방 쥔장이 앨범 Between the Lines 수록곡들 가운데 제일 좋아했던 곡이기도 합니다. 앞서 올린 At Seventeen, In the Winter, Tea & Sympathy 등과 함께 1975년에 발표된 재니스 이안의 걸작 앨범 Between the Lines에 수록됐던 곡.
