블랙모어스 나이트는 1998년 데뷔작 [Shadow Of The Moon], 1999년 두 번째 앨범 [Under A Violet Moon]에서 Candice Night의 청아한 소프라노와 리치 블랙모어의 영롱하고 맑은 기타 소리는 서정적이고 신비스럽다. 블랙모어스 나이트는 과거 독선적이고 권위적인 성격 때문에 많은 멤버교체를 겪었고 이리저리  떠도는 방랑자 생활을 했던 블랙모어이기에, 꾸준한 블랙모어 나이트의 활동은 정말 이례적이다. 그들의 앨범은 포크 및 신비주의적인 형태의 아름답고 선율적인 음악을  충분히 감상할 수 있다.
